Boss lady, Britt Corrales, loves being a host, coordinator, cook, and all-around creator. She is an artist in all that she does. She lives in sunny San Diego and adores all things ethnic, bright, and enthusiastic. She has worked with creative projects, florals and hosted dinner parties since she was in her teens, was an Art Curator for a public Gallery in College, has coordinated weddings and helped run community events for approximately 10 years, managed wedding venues from Temecula to San Diego, and has taught over 2000 students the importance of growing their own food and eating seasonally. She has lived in both northern and southern California, Hawaii, and a short time in Greece. Her passion for people and travel has led her to explore Mexico, the Mediterranean, and Eastern and Western Europe. This is your sign to bring her with you for your DESTINATION WEDDING!
Brittany's passion for events is unmatched. She believes the person/client is just as important as the party. This gives her an edge as she believes that the client and their guests are the most integral part of the planning. Who and Why, always come first. Details are only special if the attendee notices and the attendee connects in some way with that magic.
Being the main host of gatherings in her friend group/cousins, you can usually find Britt picking out cheese or cocktail fixings at your local supermarket, basket overflowing. Britt takes your big day to heart and even though this is her profession, she likes to get to know her couples on a personal level. Don’t be surprised if she asks you to meet up for a cocktail to ask some straight up questions about who’s who and what’s what from the get-go! Knowing the crowd is part of throwing a fabulous party!

The Mariposa History
Britt grew up in the once, Flower Capitol of the world, Leucadia, CA 92024. Her floral roots run deep, like you know, BLOOD. Her maternal grandfather was a successful and highly awarded Rose Breeder. A true plant scientist. Her paternal grandfather was a well respected and well known floral grower/wholesaler in Encinitas, with family roots in North County SD by way of Sonora, Mexico. It was only a lifelong epiphany waiting to happen when Britt recognized her hands-on love affair with humans, florals and events could be realized within one business, Mariposa Events Company LLC. Britt now works from her grandfathers rose seeding bench on her grandmothers property in Leucadia, 92024. She considers herself one lucky little duck.
